Cancellation Policy
Marhaba Digital Rental Policy Effective Date: [4-9-2025] Jurisdiction: United Arab Emirates 1. Scope of Policy This Rental Policy (“Policy”) governs all rental transactions with Marhaba Digital (“we,” “us,” or “our”) for cameras, lenses, lighting equipment, and related accessories within the United Arab Emirates. By renting equipment from us, the customer (“you” or “Lessee”) agrees to comply with this Policy. 2. Rental Duration All rentals are calculated on a daily basis (24 hours). Additional days will be charged if equipment is returned late. 3. Payment Terms Full payment is due upon return of the equipment. Accepted methods: [cash, online payment, transfer]. Late returns incur extra daily rental charges. 4. Security Deposit A security deposit is required before release of equipment. Accepted forms: Original Passport (held securely and returned upon equipment return), OR 50% of the original equipment value (refundable upon safe return). Deposit will be adjusted against damages, loss, or late fees if applicable. 5. Collection & Delivery Self-collection from our office is standard. Delivery & pickup are available at extra charges (quoted at booking). 6. Customer Responsibilities The Lessee is responsible for equipment from the moment it is collected until it is returned. Equipment must be handled properly and used for lawful purposes only. Lessee must not sub-rent, modify, or tamper with the equipment. 7. Damage, Loss & Liability Lessee is fully liable for any loss, theft, or damage (accidental or intentional) during the rental period. Costs for repair or replacement will be charged at current market value. Marhaba Digital is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from equipment use. 8. Cancellations & Refunds Cancellations made at least 12 hours before scheduled pickup/delivery are free of charge. Cancellations after this period may incur a one-day rental fee. No-shows are considered as cancellations without notice and charged accordingly. 9. Returns Equipment must be returned in the same condition as issued. A brief inspection will be carried out at return. Missing items (lenses, caps, cables, batteries, etc.) will be charged at replacement cost. 10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution This Policy is governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. In case of disputes, both parties agree to resolve amicably first.
